HOUSTON-- Shell is considering divesting its interests various central North Sea interests, according to brokers Indigo Pool.

The interests are in license block 22/6s (North) containing the Bacchus field (approved this week for development), and license block 21/9 containing the Val d'Isere prospect.

Both permits are operated by Apache, and are near Forties platforms. Indigo Pool says Apache is working on a program for Val d'Isere, and that a discovery would benefit from the experience gained on the Bacchus development.
