HAMBURG, Germany -- RWE Dea has signed agreements covering processing of production from its Breagh gas field in the UK southern North Sea.

The Teesside Gas Processing Plant (TGPP) in northeast England will establish a dedicated service to handle supplies from Breagh, and ensure onward delivery through the UK’s national gas transmission network. TGPP’s owner, Teesside Gas & Liquids Processing, also will provide remote operational services for the Breagh Alpha platform.

The field is in block 42/13 in 62 m (203 ft) of water, around 100 km (62 mi) east of Teesside. Development will be in two phases. Under the first phase, a 20-in. (51-cm) pipeline will be laid from the Breagh Alpha platform to the TGPP.
