    Total to get interest in Sebuku license off Kalimantan

    Total has agreed to acquire 15% interest in the Sebuku license offshore Kalimantan from Pearl Oil (Sebuku) Ltd.

    PARIS – Total has agreed to acquire 15% interest in the Sebuku license offshore Kalimantan from Pearl Oil (Sebuku) Ltd. Pearl Oil, a Mubadala Development Co. subsidiary, will retain 70% and Inpex holds the remaining 15%.

    Sebuku is 300 km 186 mi) south of Total’s Peciko facilities in water depths of 50 to 200 m (164 to 656 ft). It holds the Ruby gas discovery which has development approval from Indonesia and is expected onstream in 2013 at 100 MMcf/d of natural gas.
