Offshore staff

(Singapore) -- A water injection system for offshore Malaysian platform BR-A has been contracted to Tanjung Offshore Services Sdn Bhd.

The $1.37-million system order was from Ramunia Fabricagtors Sdn Bhd for delivery by the end of August 2006.

Tanjung also reports it expects to increase its stake in the Cendor MOPU. It holds a contract to deliver the unit in 4Q06.

Elsewhere, Tanjung secured charter contracts for two new straight supply vessels,MV Tanjung Pinang 1 and MV Tanjung Pinang 2, to Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd starting in September.

The two-year charter, with an extension option of one year, was secured through compatriot Jasa Merin (M) Sdn Bhd, which in turn has chartered the vessels to Carigali.
