Grenland Group wins EPCIC contract

TØNSBERG, Norway -- Teekay Norway AS has awarded the Grenland Group an engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning contract for a VOC recovery system plant onboard the M/T Stena Natalita, a North Sea shuttle tanker.

The equipment recovers volatile gases released from the vessel's cargo tanks during loading.

The plant, which contains three process units, will be installed on the vessel's main deck and will be integrated into the vessel's technical systems. This installation is number 12 in a series of this type delivered by Grenland Group to different shuttle tankers operating in the North Sea

Grenland Group's Sandefjord office will fulfill the $8.2-million contract.
