BREDA Netherlands -- The semisubmersible Mighty Servant 3 sank in 62 m (203 ft) of water about 1.6 km (1 mi) offshore northern Angola.
The vessel began to list after offloading the drilling platform Aleutian Key. The drilling platform did not sustain any damage and is under way to its drilling location.
The crew of 21 was taken off the vessel onboard of one of the supporting vessels on standby during the offloading. The drilling platform crew was safely on the platform at the time of the incident.
The cause of the incident is not known at this time, but is being investigated.
