Shell contracts EOR pumps for South China Sea

DALLAS -- Shell Malaysia Exploration & Production has contracted Flowserve to supply pumps for oil recovery efforts on the St. Joseph field in the South China Sea. The project will use Flowserve barrel pumps to inject seawater into the field to boost oil extraction.
The $8-million pump order was booked with Flowserve via Malaysia-based Enserv Sendirian Berhad.
