TANAGER, Norway -- BP has awarded ASCO Norge a supply base infrastructure contract and supply base operation contract for the Skarv development in the northern North Sea. The 15-year supply base infrastructure contract has two five-year options, while the three-year supply base operation contract has two, three-year options. The contracts total $14.7 million.
The company’s Sandnessjøen, Norway facilities will provide base and operating support functions for the development, with first activity expected in September this year. Drilling of the first well is scheduled for January 2010.
