ABERDEEN – ENI Australia has awarded RANms a three-year maintenance services contract with two, one-year extensions for the Blacktip project onshore gas processing plant in Wadeye, along with an unmanned wellhead platform and a single point mooring associated with the Blacktip gas field in the Bonaparte basin.

The gas produced from the Blacktip field will be used to generate electricity in Darwin and other Northern Territory locations through a 25-year gas sale agreement with Power Water Corp. (PWC). Processed gas will be exported through a 275-km (171-mi) onshore export pipeline into the main distribution line for transportation.
