J. Ray McDermott loads out North Belut topsides

J. Ray McDermott has constructed an approximately 14,000-metric-ton (15,432 -ton) integrated deck constructed at its fabrication facility on Batam Island, Indonesia.

HOUSTON -- J. Ray McDermott has constructed an approximately 14,000-metric-ton (15,432 -ton) integrated deck constructed at its fabrication facility on Batam Island, Indonesia.

J. Ray’s scope of work included procurement of tertiary steel and bulks, construction engineering, fabrication, onshore commissioning and offshore hook-up, and commissioning of the North Belut Central Processing platform (NBCPP) offshore Indonesia. J. Ray also constructed the eight-leg steel jacket for NBCPP under a different contract that included construction engineering, procurement of tertiary steel, and fabrication.

The topsides were built for ConocoPhillips Indonesia.
