STAVANGER-- Norway’s authorities have approved DONG’s development plan for the Oselvar field in the Norwegian North Sea.

Oselvar will produce through subsea wells linked to BP’s Ula platform. According to DONG’s partner Noreco, the field has reserves of 52 MMboe, with further exploration potential in the production license.

The two companies are also in partnership on the Nini East project in the Danish sector, where the platform has just been installed.
