OSLO -- StatoilHydro has awarded Aibel a $6-million contract for conceptual development of the Troll A third and fourth compressor trains. Aibel will evaluate capacities, necessary platform modifications, and future compressor reconfigurations.
Work has begun at Aibel’s engineering offices in Billingstad, Norway. The selected conceptual solution will be developed towards the start of the FEED phase, expected in early summer 2010.
