THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Petrobel has awarded CTC Marine Projects a $20 million contract for the North Bardawil project offshore Egypt.
The project will use the MPSV Volantis with a permanently installed jet trenching system, a 2,000-ton (1,814-metric-ton) carousel reel for deployment of flexible pipeline and umbilical, a 150-ton (136-metric-ton) heave compensated crane for deepwater construction, and the WROV Installer 1 from Trico's DeepOcean division.
