Dubai Petroleum commissions Falah B control room

Dubai Petroleum has contracted OIL Engineering Middle East (OIL ME) for a new local equipment control room complex for its Falah B development in the Arabian Gulf.

ABU DHABI -- Dubai Petroleum has contracted OIL Engineering Middle East (OIL ME) for a new local equipment control room complex for its Falah B development in the Arabian Gulf. Delivery is due by February 2010.

Under the $2-million contract, OIL ME will supply a switchgear and battery room, a control room, and a heating, ventilation and air conditioning unit. Design is subcontracted to Labtech Services. Both companies are owned by the Sovereign Oilfield Group.

OIL ME provide structural and pipe fabrication services to oil and gas projects in the Middle East from its base in Mussaffah, Abu Dhabi, which has over 120,000 sq ft (11,1 48 sq m) of fabrication workshops.
