Kongsberg to deliver automation, security to StatoilHydro in North Sea

StatoilHydro and Kongsberg Maritime has agreed on operation of automatino and security systems elivered by Kongsberg to StatoilHydro's North Sea installations.

STAVANGER, Norway --StatoilHydro and Kongsberg Maritime has agreed on operation of automation and security systems delivered by Kongsberg to StatoilHydro's North Sea installations.
Covering two years, the agreement includes Statfjord A, B, and C, and the Haltenbanken platforms.
Kongsberg will provide control and automation equipment systems to the platforms with the aim of running as much of the work as possible from shore to reduce the number of trips offshore.
