LONDON -- Prosafe Production Services Pte Ltd has awarded Aibel Thailand a $10-million contract to procure and construct five topside modules for the Petrobras Cidade De Sao Mates FPSO.
The project consists of two 820-ton (744-metric ton) manifold modules, a 365-ton (331-metric ton) gas export module, a 215-ton (195-metric ton) heating medium equipment module, and a 190-ton (172-metric ton) chemical injection module.
The cutting of steel has already started with delivery of the modules due by 2Q 2008. The project is on schedule and on budget, Aibel says.
