Offshore staff
BANGKOK, Thailand -- Swiber Offshore Construction Pte. Ltd. has issued a letter of intent to CUEL Ltd. from for the provision of two jackets piles and topsides for a project off the west coast of India.
The CUEL scope of work consists of detailed design engineering, procurement, construction, load out, and sea fastening, to be done at the CUEL facilities at Laem Chabang, Chonburi, Thailand.
Both platforms' totaling 4,400 tons (3,992 metric tons) are scheduled for sail away in January 2009.
This contract award is the single largest contract awarded to CUEL outside the Gulf of Thailand.
