Offshore staff
HOUSTON – McDermott International Inc. will fabricate a 15,000-ton platform for Noble Energy’s Alen gas/condensate development off the east coast of Bioko Island, Equatorial Guinea.
McDermott will manage the construction, load out, and installation aids for a 15,000 ton central production platform, including living quarter, and a smaller 2,000-ton wellhead jacket and pile.
Work is scheduled to begin in 1Q 2011 at McDermott’s Morgan City, Louisiana, facility.
Alen is in block O in approximately 240 ft (73 m) of water.
