Dockwise carries Big Foot hull into GoM for Chevron

BREDA, the Netherlands –Dockwise Ltd. has delivered the hull for Chevron’s Big Foot extended tension leg platform to Corpus Christi, Texas.

TheMighty Servant 1 took the hull from Silli-do Island, South Korea via the Cape of Good Hope to the Gulf of Mexico. The trip of 60 days covered 16,100 nautical mi. (29,632 km/18,413 mi).

To accommodate the structure, the deck of theMighty Servant 1 was enlarged with four outriggers and was opened to reinforce the internal hull.
