(US, GoM) - Noble Energy reports that the first of its three-well Swordfish development is scheduled to come on stream this month. The remaining two wells are anticipated to begin production in November as third party facilities are reinstated.
The three wells are tied back to the Kerr-McGee-operated Neptune spar. Following Hurricane Rita, the operator said that its spar was unaffected by the storm and is ready to restart production as soon as pipelines permit.
The Mariner-operated Swordfish development was originally scheduled to achieve first production in the first quarter of this year. The field is located in Viosca Knoll blocks 917, 961 and 962 in up to 4,677 ft of water.
