(US, GoM)-Kerr-McGee says itsConstitution spar hull has been successfully installed in approximately 4,970 ft of water in Mississippi Canyon blocks 679/680. The facility's topsides are scheduled to be set by the end of the year.

Heerema Marine Contractors performed installation of the spar's 554-ft, 15,000-ton hull. The company says its 100%-owned project is on track for first production by mid-2006.
