SAN DONATO MILANESE, Italy  Eni has signed a long-term contract with QatarEnergy LNG NFE, its joint venture with QatarEnergy, for the development of the North Field East (NFE) project offshore Qatar.

This will deliver up to 1.5 Bcm/year of LNG to the FSRU Italia, currently stationed in Piombino, Italy, with deliveries set to begin in 2026 and continue for 27 years.
