Offshore staff
HONG KONG — CNOOC has produced first gas from the Jinzhou 31-1 field development in Liaodong Bay, Bohai Sea offshore eastern China.
Average water depth is about 30 m.
Facilities include a subsea production system, featuring the first shallow-water christmas tree developed in China, along with a subsea pipeline and umbilical, both connected to processing facilities at the Jinzhou 25-1 south platform.
Production should peak next year at about 14.8 MMcf/d.
