KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Hess Exploration and Production Malaysia has contracted Velesto Energy to provide its Integrated Rig, Drilling and Completion (i-RDC) services for Hess’ 2022 to 2024 offshore North Malay Basin full-field development campaign.
Velesto will supply its jackup NAGA 5 for the program, with an estimated contract value of $135 million.
With i-RDC, the integration of drilling rig services, equipment and in some cases procurement of materials for drilling and completion services are covered under a single contract between the operator, as the owner of the project, and the service company, acting as i-RDC contractor.
