LONDON – Jersey Oil & Gas continues to progress electrification studies for its planned Greater Buchan Area (GBA) development in the UK central North Sea.
Data acquisition has finished for the pre-FEED offshore work program, which includes environmental, geotechnical, and geophysical surveys of the cable route for power from shore. The data will provide input for the environmental impact assessments for the GBA development.
JOG has now decided to re-phase FEED entry, FID and first-oil target dates to allow sufficient time for incorporation of regional electrification studies, in collaboration with other offshore operators/owners, into the FEED workflows.
