Second module lifted onto Forouzan quarters platform offshore Iran

Iranian Offshore Oil Co. has installed the 152-ton QB topsides module for the FYA quarters platform at the Forouzan oil field in the Persian Gulf.

TEHRAN, Iran – Iranian Offshore Oil Co. has installed the 152-ton QB topsides module for the FYA quarters platform at the Forouzan oil field in the Persian Gulf, according to news service Shana.
Last month, the 160-ton QA module was placed on the cellar and main floors.
Following completion of these operations and work on the helideck area, construction of the FYA platform, with a total weight of 1,300 tons, should be completed by late September.
