Offshore staff
HOUSTON – INPEX has awarded McDermott International a front-end engineering and design (FEED) services contract for the Ichthys LNG field development offshore northwest Australia.
The FEED covers a booster compression module that INPEX plans to add to the offshore central processing facility, with an optional follow-on engineering, procurement, and construction role for the project.
In addition, McDermott is conducting an umbilicals, risers and flowlines study as part of an expansion of the Ichthys LNG facilities. Engineering will be completed at the company’s offices in Kuala Lumpur.
