Aker Energy postpones deepwater Pecan project off Ghana

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – Aker Energy has terminated the letter of intent it issued to Yinson in February for the proposed award of contracts to charter, operate, and maintain the FPSO for the Pecan project offshore Ghana.

Aker Energy has postponed activities under the Deepwater Tano Cape Three Points petroleum agreement and the development of the Pecan project until further notice amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
