More platforms heading to South Pars Phase 13 offshore Iran

The two remaining platforms for the Phase 13 development of the South Pars gas field in the Persian Gulf (platforms B and D) will be installed in the next four months, according to news service Shana.

TEHRAN, Iran – The two remaining platforms for the Phase 13 development of the South Pars gas field in the Persian Gulf (platforms B and D) will be installed in the next four months, according to news service Shana.

Platform C is currently operational while Platform A is expected to start service next spring.

In 2015, development was set back when one of the platforms was damaged after being struck by a Singaporean vessel.
