OSLO, Norway --BP has awarded a 4C seismic survey over Shah Deniz in the Caspian Sea to Reservoir Exploration Technology ASA.

The five-month survey is scheduled to start in 4Q 2007.

"The Caspian Sea has huge areas of prospective acreage requiring high quality seismic data for future development.
