Offshore staff

HOUSTON – Dawson Geophysical Co. has ordered $6.1 million in GSR channels and related equipment from OYO Geospace. Delivery of the 8,000 GRS channels is expected before Dec. 31, 2010.

OYO also has contracted and delivered 7,900 SRC channels on short-term rental to three separate seismic crews. The company says it plans to increase its rental fleet to 15,000 channels to meet demand.
