OSLO -- Fugro-Geoteam has completed an extensive 3D survey for Statoil E&P USA offshore Alaska in the Chukchi Sea.

The M/V Geo Celtic performed the survey during the brief ice-free season, recording of over 2,600 sq km (1,004 sq mi) of data in 40 days.

Fugro-Geoteam says this output, combined with minimal loss of time, zero infill and no environmental incidents, followed wide-ranging planning, preparation, and co-operation between all parties.

The company’s personnel and facilities in Anchorage were deployed throughout the duration of the project, providing local support and resources.
