Offshore staff

(Hanoi) -- A production sharing contract for deepwater block 122 off Vietnam was signed by PetroVietnam, Petronas, and Chevron Vietnam.

Block 122 covers 6,981 sq km with water depths of 50 - 2,500 m in Phu Khanh basin. Under terms of the contract, Chevron, as operator, will run 3,000 km of 2D seismic, reprocess 2,000 km of existing seismic data, and drill one exploration well in the first three years of the seven-year period.
