Lundin given go-ahead for Norwegian Sea well

OSLO, Norway – Lundin Norway has authorization from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate to drill an appraisal well in license PL830.
The semisubmersibleLeiv Eiriksson will drill well 6307/1-1 S, the first on the license, after completing another appraisal program for Lundin in PL609.
The well location will be 29 km (18 mi) southeast of theFenja discovery and 39 km (24 mi) south of the Njord field.
