ConocoPhillips takes Transocean midwater semisub on 13-well hire

STEINHAUSEN, Switzerland– ConocoPhillips has awarded the midwater semisubmersible Transocean 712 a 13-well contract (about 580 days) in the UK North Sea.
The contract is expected to begin in March 2019.
The estimated firm contract backlog is about $75 million. Additionally, the contract includes a one-well option.
