ABERDEEN, UK – Eni Norge’s 7183/12-2 Boné exploration well in license PL716 in the Norwegian Barents Sea has reached TD of 3,501 m (11,486 ft).
According to partnerFaroe Petroleum, the well – drilled by the semisubmersible Scarabeo 8 – encountered only 106 m (348 ft) of gross water-bearing reservoir in the prime target, the Realgrunnen Group.
Data acquisition and sampling has been conducted including logging and water sampling.
TheScarabeo 8 is currently P&A’ing the well.
