Offshore staff

Oslo, Norway --DNO ASA has spudded an exploratory well on the Lie prospect in the North Sea, west of Hydro's Grane field. This follows consent for the program earlier this week from Petroleum Safety Authority Norway.

The semisubmersibleBredford Dolphin is drilling well 24/9-8 in 123 m (403 ft) of water, with a total planned depth of 2,212 m (7,257 ft). Other partners in the license are PAS Resources Norway, Revus Energy, and Talisman Energy Norge.
