HOUSTON -- NOV Brandt has received a two-year contract from Seadrill Ltd. to provide cuttings re-injection services in support of Seadrill's drilling and maintenance services for Shell UK Ltd.'s North Sea operations.
NOV Brandt will operate the equipment, plan and execute maintenance programs, and manage maintenance records. The contract includes provision and management of spares and backup component inventories, specialized training for Seadrill personnel, and supply of mud centrifuge units and rig cleaning equipment.
"This is an extremely significant contract for NOV Brandt to be awarded," says Chris Harriman, NOV Brandt's Business Development manager for the North Sea, Europe, and West Africa. "It is a major step towards confirming our position as a major provider of waste management services, both offshore and onshore, in all sectors of the North Sea."
