Offshore staff

HAMILTON, Bermuda --Cairn India has contracted Scorpion Offshore Ltd.'s Offshore Courageous for $35 million to drill four wells offshore India starting in mid-Sept. 2007.

The rig is in the US Gulf of Mexico preparing for load-out to India. Arrival is expected in late August.
