Offshore staff

NICOSIA, Cyprus –Petroleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA) has signed a contract with Neptune Marine to use the Neptune Discoverer for four years. The $700-million contract is expected begin in 1Q 2008 upon completion of the vessel's drilling commitment in Vietnam for Con Son.

PDVSA says the rig will work offshore Venezuela on gas development drilling at Mariscal Sucre.
