Noble takes Songa Saturn option

Noble Energy has exercised an option to retain the Songa Saturn drillship for two wells.

OSLO, Norway –Noble Energy has exercised an option to retain the Songa Saturn drillship for two wells. Noble has farmed out the two wells to Kosmos Energy and drilling is scheduled to begin offshore Ghana in mid-January 2008.

Upon completion of the wells, the rig is scheduled to go to Libya after a Malta stop for installation of riser tensioners and some other maintenance.
