LONDON -- Shell is plugging and abandoning the Anne-1X well off Pakistan. The well was drilled in water depths greater than 1,300 m (4,265 ft) to 3,250 m (10,663 ft) TD and encountered some minor gas shows, according to partner Premier Oil.
