HAMILTON, Bermuda –Upon completion of its contract in India, Scorpion Offshore Ltd.'s Offshore Courageous has a letter of commitment from RAK Petroleum Oman Ltd.
The new contract would be for 200 days at a value of about $41 million.
Scorpion says it expects to sign the final contract within two weeks.
