Deep Driller 3 contracted for offshore Malaysia

A subsidiary of Sinvest ASA and Premium Drilling have agreed to an LOI to drill two wells offshore Malaysia with the Deep Driller 3 jackup for $10 million.

KRISTIANSAND, Norway --A subsidiary of Sinvest ASA and Premium Drilling have agreed to an LOI to drill two wells offshore Malaysia with the Deep Driller 3 jackup for $10 million.

The two wells are expected to take two months to drill.Deep Driller 3 can drill HT/HP wells to 10,669 m (35,000 ft). The operator was not identified.

Following completion of these wells, the rig is scheduled for a 12-month assignment plus options in Malaysia with Sarawak Shell Berhad and Sabah Shell Petroleum Co. Ltd.
