GUILDFORD, UK --ATP Oil & Gas currently is drilling its fourth development well on its Kilmar & Garrow (Tor) fields in the UK southern North Sea. The company expects the K3 well to be completed and onstream this fall, lifting output from Tors to 60-80 MMcf/d.

In July, the company completed and tested the Wenlock W1 development well with a record (for ATP) 3,900 ft (1,188 m) horizontal completion. WI encountered additional sands in an exploration target, flowing 58 MMcf/d on test. Over the next few months, the company plans to de-water, hydrostatically test, and tie in the field's 27-km (16.78-mi) export flowline to bring Wenlock into production late this year, at around 60 MMcf/d.

ATP sees further upside from two more drilling opportunities close to Wenlock, which it is evaluating. It is also in discussion with other oil companies concerning acquisitions and divestments of properties in the North Sea and Gulf of Mexico.
