PERTH, Western Australia -- Apache Northwest Pty. Ltd. expects to produce gas from the Bambra East-3 long-reach development well in production license TL/1offshore Western Australia early next month, the company says.

The Bambra East-3 well was drilled from the Harriet Bravo platform, approximately
3.9 km (2.4 mi) south-southeast of the Bambra East field. The well is being completed and tied for immediate gas production.

Apache operates the field with 68.5% interest. Tap Oil subsidiary Tap (Harriet) Pty. Ltd. has 12.2% interest in the field with Kufpec Australia Pty. Ltd. holding the remaining 19.3%.
