PTTEP makes Timor Sea discovery

PTTEP has made a natural gas discovery with the Oliver-2 exploration well in the Timor Sea.

BANGKOK, Thailand -- PTTEP has made a natural gas discovery with the Oliver-2 exploration well in the Timor Sea. The well reached a depth of 3,233 m (10,607 ft) encountering 81 m (266 ft) of net gas thickness.

The company is evaluating FLNG development options.
