Statoil extends Schlumberger, Baker Hughes contracts

Statoil has extended its contracts with Schlumberger Norge and Baker Hughes Norge for integrated drilling services.

STAVANGER -- Statoil has extended its contracts with Schlumberger Norge and Baker Hughes Norge for integrated drilling services. The extensions, worth $428 million, are valid for two years beginning later this year.

The contracts include delivery of directional drilling, measurement while drilling (MWD), and mud logging services for 25 licenses on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS).
