Entek logs pay at North Padre 975

WEST PERTH, Western Australia -- Entek Energy Ltd. reports the A-11 well on North Padre block 975 in the Gulf of Mexico logged multiple levels of pay. The well reached TD of 7,983 ft (2,433 m) and reached all its objectives.
A 5-in production liner is being run to total depth, says Entek, and the plan is to complete the B7 interval to produce the targeted 4 bcf of natural gas and then to test the remaining sands.
The additional work is estimated to require 15 days to complete and tie-in to the A platform on block 975.
