Offshore staff

OSLO -- Petroleum Authority Norway has approved Statoil’s planned workover program in the Norwegian North Sea, using the drilling rig Polar Pioneer.

The consent applies to two well workovers on the Vigdis field and one on Tordis in production license 089. The operation will start as soon as the rig has concluded its current assignment for Statoil on Fram Øst.

Work should start this month.
